The Women of Nottingham Myers provide opportunities to lift one another up, pray for and with one another and grow in godliness as they engage with God through His Word.  We help women come to Christ and grow in Christ by understanding the gospel, responding to the gospel, and applying in their lives.  We engage in small group studies and Women's Bible Study.  

United Women in Faith Purpose

We are a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

Our women’s group is a blend of Nottingham Myers and Christ UMC Cooperative Parish striving together to uphold the purpose of United Women in Faith.

We meet in January, March, May, September, November, with a get-together in December.  Our mission to help women, children, and youth within our community, nationally and globally. Some of our women also participate in Secret Sisters.  This is an opportunity to communicate with your fellow sister with a reveal in September. Also, at our meetings, we try to discuss relevant topics of today for our woman.

Within our community, we help to fund school supplies, backpacks, and at Christmas we help sponsor candidates from a Christmas Angel Tree.

Nationally and globally, we make a pledge of funds and send them to our District Mission Team and from there it goes to our Conference Office and then our National Office to be distributed nationally as well as globally.  We also prepare hygiene kits, feminine hygiene kits, and flood buckets to be distributed by UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief).
