How does god's love abide in anyone who has the world's goods
and see a brother or sister in need and yet refuses to help.

The Health & Welfare Ministry focuses on the health and welfare of the congregation. We conduct monthly blood pressure checks and respond to humanitarian emergencies. We also reach out to the community giving attention to and supporting benevolent and nurturing programs, organizations and causes, such as the Prince George's County Warm Nights Program, the Community Support Services Food Pantry, providing cancer care bags for Med Star Georgetown Cancer Institute, providing essentials for the residents of Restore Health Rehabilitation Center in White Plains, MD and homeless shelters in the County. In addition we remember and recognize our "Golden Agers", seniors over 80. We provide them with special lunches and gift baskets throughout the year.
