L.I.V.E Ministry
Leading and Investing in the Village for Empowerment

Mission: To provide services that will inspire individuals (K-12 grades) to become the best version of themselves.
Scripture: Luke 2:40 And the child grew and became strong, filled with wisdom; and the favor of God was upon him.

L.I.V.E. Ministry strives to fulfill its mission by providing the following services:
  • Provide back packs of food for at least one weekend per month for students experiencing food insecurity at Baden and Brandywine Elementary Schools. This service is similar to the service provided by Heart FELT (feeding empty little tummies) of Southern, Maryland.  This and other services will extend to the middle and high schools as the ministry grows.

  • Mentoring and tutoring offered in the subject areas of mathematics and English Learning. Mentoring held within the school during the day and tutoring via zoom in the evening.

  • Mental Health groups held via zoom in the evening by certified professional counselor/therapist.

  • As the Community Life Center becomes available, ONE WEEK SUMMER CAMP and Game and Recreation Fridays will be offered each Friday of the month for the different the grade levels. Adults will be encouraged to participate on the 4th Friday of the month and on the AFTER-WORSHIP GAMES AND RECREATION SUNDAYS.  A limited number of free refreshment tickets will be available for school aged children who worship with us on these Sundays from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
